The house was built for Charles Weiss and his wife in 1895. Mr. Weiss was the editor and publisher of the city’s first successful newspaper, and both he and his wife were prominent civic leaders.

Stay in one of our five guestrooms and relax near a fireplace in the parlor, library, dining, or music room. Our historic B&B is furnished with antiques to capture the period. The library is beautifully decorated with cherry wood and a tiled fireplace, and the parlor is heavily adorned in exquisite oak surrounding a marble fireplace.
